This is the first edition of THE FELLOWSHIP OF THE RING, originally published on 29 July 1954 in the UK . It is the first of three volumes of The Lord of the Rings by J. R. R. Tolkien, followed by The Two Towers and The Return of the King. One of my favourite epic novels and just at my tender age.
